Super easy to put in today. Just cut the angles to fit and then went from the top of the rear section to nearly the bottom of the aluminum seat brackets. These are really sturdy and prevents the bowing to hit the manifolds. Easy 23 bucks at lowes.

I am thinking about reinforcing myself. But I think why not just mount the alum channel to the divider to keep it from bowing? Then we can still pull out the divider and not have the alum channel in the way. It would just come out with the divider. I am unsure if I would mount on the engine side or the other side. I think it would have same effect.

I did it apart from the dividers to keep it easy to remove. Not sure how cumbersome yours are to remove, but with the ballast upgrades I may have lost some room and a straight up removal is not an option. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I had to add divider support. Kind of bummed to have to...But knew it was coming. Filling 1100 full was too much...I hate to block access to motor...I re-used the hole already drilled at top. Had to drill one hole at bottom. 1 inch by 4 foot polished steel. Sucker ain't bending... Only did the port side as that is where we surf. Was like $15.

            Did you ever try this?

See post # 19. I decided not to mount to divider - even though i liked idea of then being to pull divider and have unobstructed access to engine. But the divider does not fit in the channel all that well. So I thought it would pop out or deform the panel where it hits divider.
