V-Drive Oil pressure light + Seattle Area repair shop

The 1200 rpm light won't go off in my 2004 226. I've checked the oil and made sure it's full. After that, it went off. Went out again tonight and the light won't go off. The oil is crystal clear on the dip stick, so I'm wonder if it's recirculating at all. There is a distinctive whine coming from the v-drive the when the seat is off the cap in the floor to access the v-drive is unscrewed. Maybe it's always done this, but it's the first I've noticed.

Does anyone know how to test the sensor in this boat? The V-Drive appears to be very difficult to get to.

Also, does anyone have a good repair shop they recommend in the Seattle Area?

P.S. It's a total bummer because I was going to take my niece and 4 of her friends out on the lake tomorrow. They were stoked! But not anymore...

It is a simple 2 PSI pressure switch in the NC position when there is no pressure detected.
You can test by removing the switch & testing continuity when pressure is applied - continuity should cease when pressure is applied, hence turning off the light.

The V-Drive uses a mechanical pump that need the shaft rotating to work.
Failure of the switch is a relatively common.

The OEM part is a Honneywell/Hobbs Brass switch. I got on in Brisbane, Australia, I am pretty sure you'd find one in Seattle. Get onto some Automation suppliers.
