211 gear box problems
Hello all, it seems that our Air Nautique 211 is becoming somewhat of a liability. We've fixed the ignition problem, had to change the starter motor and now we have a horrific noise emanating from the V-Drive. The noise is that off metal on metal, such as when a bearing goes however its not from the gear box itself, more from where the prop shaft enters the boat.
My question is will there be a bearing that could have gone and if so what process would we use to fix it
We're coming into peak season at our resort and we really need to be running the boat alongside the two others we have and this kind of job is notorious for being a rather big one, the 211 isn't what we could call great for accessibility the parts of the engine after all.
Any help with this would be amazing
