I had a wishbone trailer on my old 210. I have no engineering degree and I understand exactly what air tool is talking about. If I loaded on a beep ramp and tightened the turn buckle too much the star of the boat would be lifted slightly. The buckle would be soon tight it couldn't. Be removed without floating the boat. If the nose of the boat is buckled down, and the *** in the air, everything along the bottom would be compressed. That could include the thru hull fitting as brass is very soft. Could the OP solve the debate by removing the turn buckle and then see if the plug comes out without significant effort or cheater bar?

Most plugs I have seen/had squared out at the bottom, which you could put a wrench on as opposed to the tee-handle, that is if you think it might break.

FWIW, on our 206, the boat would definitely flex on the trailer, most noticeable with the center/folding section of the windshield.
No Turnbuckle so can't say whether or not that affects the plug. Then again I never tighten the plug beyond finger tight either.

A huge thanks to everyone for your input. I was able to finally get the plug out this weekend. Much of many types of penetrating chemicals and time and muscle and longer wrenches and tapping and loosening the turn-buckle finally made it brake loose. Turns out that the previous (knucklehead) owner applied some form of hardening seal. He didn't want it to ever come out. The "T" handle was weakened quite a bit so I replace the old plug with a new one. Again, thanks!
