    Perfect pass problems?

So on my 2003 sante my perfect pass is not working I can set the speed I want but when I reach the speed on the speedo it won't take over. The perfect pass does read the actuall speed I dont know if there is a loose connection. Need any suggestions that you have would love to get it working.

Does it beep when it gets to the required speed? Check the connection for the servo motor at your control box. Also check the connection at the motor end. Have you tried turning your servo motor at all by hand because they are prone to seizing up.

Sounds like a seized servo motor. With the engine cover up, turn on the ignition without starting the boat (on a keypad, touch "start" twice but do not hold down start). On the second "start" push, you should hear the servo wind up for a couple of seconds.

*If it doesn't wind up and you cannot spin it by hand, it is seized. ~$125 for a new one and it is an easy install.

*If it doesn't wind up but you can spin it by hand, it is a connection issue. Check all connections in and out of the controller box and servo motor.

I looked at my module today(05 team) which was under the dash. Tr paddle wheel had one wire with no coatig on it. I made sure everythin was in all the way for power, rpm, etc. still same issue. Resets everytime, cannot perform a true reset, and even if I adj. nn/kdw as soon as I look at it again it has reset to 001. Pp reads 11.7 v with engine off

the uncoated wire is a ground (or drain to be more correct).

Not sure what could be causing the issues. send an email to: techsupport@perfectpass.com

Guessing, I might suggest one of your controller buttons is bad?

I have an extra controller. If you want to borrow it to troubleshoot your system send me a deposit and cover the shipping round trip and you are welcome to it. For that matter I have a whole system, if you want to send me a bigger deposit I will send you all the components.

A stereo issue just came up and I can drive by hand for now, but need tunes. I'm going to go through everything while on the phone with perfect pass and send them pics so of you can help my problem I'll pm you. Thanks for the insight. With engine running today pp voltage was like 13v. Ahhhhh

Is the yellow fuse holder supposed to have a fuse that looks like little waves? I've never seen that before.
