    V drive pressure sensor leak

Re the v drive sensor, I am seeing a small oil leak around the sensor. Does anyone know if the sensor is a self contained unit or are there seams/joints on the sensor that could leak. If not then the leak has to be coming from where the sensor is secrewed into the v drive.

Yes, it probably could leak from an internal source, however, you might just want to take it out, put some teflon tape on the threads and put it back in. Make sure you don't get any teflon tape on the pressure port of the sensor.

I talked with the local nautique dealer and yes the sensor can actually leak so I'm thinking the problem is the sensor and not the actual connection point to the v drive.
