2008 Excalibur 330- water pouring from starter motor!!

We've started running our old 2008 Ski Nautique (until we get our other boats back on the water)

The boat has been sat winterized since September of last year. We got it running, the engine sounds a bit rattly however runs. This morning whilst letting it warm up we realized that there was water pouring from the starter motor, we're talking fountain, it had nearly filled the bilge over the carpet!

Where could this water be coming from????

ASAP replies would be really appreciated!

No worries problem solved

Don't worry guys, seems water from the bilge had made it into the crank housing and when we started the engine it was being forced out again. Have taken starter motor off and regreeced everything. Starts like a dream and runs better with no further water appearing.

Next year you will likely need a new starter.
