    2011 200V Sport dual Battery?

I have a 2011 200 V and have had a dead battery on the lake twice - probably running the stereo and ballast pumps too much...

But I'm wondering if it's possible to put a dual battery system in a 200 V? Anyone tried that or know if it can be done?

Im also having the exact same issue.

I am trying to find details on how to wire a second battery with the "Bluesea systems add a battery and switch package".
This has a relay in it that allows both batteries to be charged while motor runs but isolates the batteries when you to start the boat.
Its hard to explain. But if you have already gone down this road your insight would be appreciated.
The boat comes with a "starting" battery. I have bought a deep cycle battery to run the accesseries of the boat. So what happens is, whenyou start the boat, it automatically uses the starter battery only, which should in theory, always remain fully charged with this system. And the deep cycle battery is for stuff like stereos, bilge pumps, ballast pumps, light, etc while the engine is not running.

Thanks for the reply! I haven't tried anything yet, but was planning on investigating over the winter. I did take my battery out and had it tested - it would not take a charge, so now I'm trying to determine if it was just a bad battery or if I really have a short in the boat. Bought a new battery and so far no issues, but beint later in the fall the boat hasn't been out as much. If you've tried the system described above, I'd be interested in the results. I'm also curious where you mounted the second battery in the boat.

Has anyone been able to install the "dual battery system" on a 200V yet? I just purchased a 2012 and am looking to take on the same project.

There shouldn't be any reason why you can't put a dual batt system in that boat. You can also just get a Pergo switch and wire up a second batt. Simply switch between batt 1 and 2 each time you go out. This will keep the batteries charged. You can I have two deep cycles, and never have a problem with dead batteries.
