    Propeller help

I have been trying to replace my prop and there is a gap between the prop and the strut....does that matter or does it have to touch?

You just need to tighten it by hand then go 1/4 turn and put the cotter pin through the castle nut. It is keyed and tapered so it won't loosen if you do this. To make it easier to get off next time I actually put a little grease on the shaft before I mount the prop.

lapping the prop is a good idea also.
