2007 SAN 220 Ballast not filling

Hey everyone. This one has probably been beaten up over the years, but just wanted to check before I start work. My port and center built in ballast tanks are not working properly. The port tank doesn't fill all the way (according to the gauge) and it won't empty at all. I can hear the pump working and so I think that one is probably just the impeller. The center pump doesn't fill or empty the tank and it doesn't sound like the motor is doing anything.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Newbie out.

I am having a similar problem so I may be able to save you some steps. First to figure out if the center pump is dead take the port power lead and plug it into the center pump and then hit the port fill and see if the pump powers up. Mine will completely empty the starboard tank if I cross wire to the center power source. I am not having any problems with filling yet. Also dont get too concered about the full or empty on the gauge since long term reliability is sketchy. If you can hear the port pump running and it isnt emptying then an impeller seems right. Are you sure it isnt empty or just the gauge says so?

I would replace impellers on all pumps, check all arms if any broken are flushed out of hoses & tanks as they seem
To come back & jam.check fuse on centre tank & reset best to test all pumps quickly by taking impeller out & quickly turn on each way to see if shaft spins each way proves pumps are working.new impellers are green I found wake makers had them on special when I needed them last time
      Cheers Mark

If the fill pump is not working at all, First make sure all the breakers are ON (mine are located by the battery Perko switch). Then, while I was driving 5 -10 mph, turn the fill pump on.

        Good luck.
