    2003 226 Not starting issue

So I am here on vacation with my friend with a 226 with the 330 PCM. For some odd reason, the boat is not starting. When we launched the boat it started and no issue. A couple hours later after a bit of use, no luck. We have tried different batteries, jump starting, and no luck. I double checked the lanyard and it is connected. The boat makes the sound exactly like my 211 when the lanyard is disconnected. The volts on the batteries are good, and has a full tank of gas.

    Any ideas?

Low pressure fuel pump? Can you hear it clicking when you first turn on the ign? Check the breaker.

Compression, ignition, fuel. Given these three things at the proper time, in the proper amount, engines will run. Millions of engines prove that every day.
        So what are you missing?
Does the engine crank normally, with an even rhythmic sound? Since it did run, and you did not mention anything catastrophic, lets assume the compression is good, for now.
So here is a quick test. Crank the engine about 10 to 20 seconds. Go and smell the exhaust. Do you smell gasoline? It probably is an ignition problem. Do not smell gasoline? Suspect the fuel system first.

Checked wiring in lanyard, and reset circuit breaker next to it. Any other ideas?

Why did you try jump starting?...if it is cranking.

Not sure about 2003... but if your gauges come on, it is not the lanyard. My 2006 lanyard also kills the dash gauges...but not "cranking".

I don't think it is your toggle switch but you should check it. Wiggle the wires behind the panel.

It was fuse in the engine by the fuel rail/relays. All good now. Thanks for the replys.
