Steering Cable Replacement - 98 Ski Nautique

G'day guys,
Can anyone gove me some tips on replacement of the steewing cable on my 98 ski.?

All I really want to know is do you pull the cable out from the rudder end or the steering wheen end.? or does it even matter.?

Yes it matters. You have to pull it from the front of the boat. The rack would never fit through the hole in the floor to get it out the other way. Make sure you find all of the zip ties they have in there.

zip ties.? I've found the ones under the rear floor / engine compartment, but I'm assuming that there are none under the area of floor that is perminant.?

Anything else I need to considder.? I assume that the rudder end fitting fits through ok.?
