Just thought I would post what I found on my early 08 Boatmate trailer with the UFP GOLD Buddy bearings. I couldn't tell what the oil level was by looking through the sight windows so I pulled the fill plugs to determine my oil level in the hubs. All 4 were almost completely full, only complaint is the windows on the end of the hub are hard to determine if there's oil in the hub.
I will say the UFP brake calipers (DB35) leave something to be desired, the "dust boots" fail, and water fills in the caliper an rusts out the ridge between the dust seal and hydraulic seal. This is what causes these calipers to lock up. All 4 of my calipers have had to be rebuilt due to this failure point.
