1995 SN wont start after it warms up!

I have a 1995 Ski Nautique with the pro boss gt-40 efi! its starts up and runs great when its cold. if i shut it off and let it sit without opening the engine cover it wont start! it sounds like a vapor lock or something. Anyone else have this problem and a fix?

I have the same boat, and similar issue. If it sits for a while after running it starts fine but runs rough for a minute. Basically fluctuates RPM from 500-1000. It's annoying, its my understanding that it is a vapor lock issue. SkiDIM didn't have a fix, other than opening the engine cover. Once the FCC came out, I think in '96, the problem was solved.

I had a similar issue. It would work fine as long as it didn't sit for a while. I was cracking the shell for a while. I ended up getting stuck on the lake after hanging out for a few hours (my dad pulled me in with his jetski). I replaced the low pressure fuel pump and haven't seen any problems. Can you check the fuel pressure when this happens? I checked mine and it couldn't hold pressure while hot. The next morning it was mine.

Check the fuel pressure when you are having the crank, no start condition.
          Here is how.
