Add surf rack to 2007 220 where flight clips would mount?

I'm looking to add a rack for 2 wakesurf boards to my '07 220.
I currently have swivel racks on the tower and want to keep them for wakeboards.
I noticed on the side of the tower there are 4 pre-drilled holes where flight clips would mount.
After some searching I found a picture of a 220 with just the flight clips mounted:

My questions is, can you use both swivel and flight clips or would there be interference?
And how thick a surf board would the flight clips accomodate?
One of my surfers is quite thick, 2 1/2" I think?

Are there any other racks that would bolt on to where the flight clips go?
Or has anybody made their own? (the flight clips are seem pretty pricey for what they are...)

On my old boat (211), I purchased swivel board racks from menace wake , aka star one, and key the clips as well, which would hold a skim style board, but not the surf style which is 1.625". menace makes forks that hold surf, wake or a combo, check them out (and get a good measurement on your surf board thickness).

I measured the boards, one is 2.25" thick, and the other is 1" thick.
I already have the swivel board racks and would like to keep them for wakeboards.
I like the idea of keeping the surfers more vertical and would like to install a surfboard version of the flight clips (even if it would only be able to hold one board per side on the tower)

Does anybody make something like this?

Update... ended up buying some used flight clips and bent the upper clip open a bit to accomodate the 2.25" wakesurfer.
Looks like it will work perfect and even be able to fit the thinner wakesurfer in the outer clip
