    Somehow I overfilled the oil.

I changed the oil/filter and removed 3.5-3.75qts of oil including the filter. I added 3 qts including the filter and checked it the next day after running it on the hose for 10minutes. The oil level seemed below the "low line" on the dipstick. I checked it out on the water and it was still @ the low mark. I planned to add a little today, but when I checked the dipstick it was over the full line by about 2 inches give or take. I also noticed this today.

It looks like that crimp style connector is leaking a tiny bit. Just an annoyance.

Unless it starts to gush (probably wont happen)

      Is this a 343?
How do you know how much you took out?
How did you drain the oil, extractor or with the quick drain hose?

If it is the 343 I know that a little oil can show a dramatic effect on the stick but not two inches!

If it was my boat I would drain the oil measure what came out and compare that to the 3 quarts you put in. Check the color and consistency on the oil as well, looking for water. Check the filter as well and make sure it is full.

Weird problem, I thought things like this only happened to me.
