    2011 226 PCM-343 Help

I bought a brand new 226 this year with the EX343 engine. Lately, after about 1-2 hours of use (cruising, boarding, tubing, etc) while the boat is cruising around 2500 RPM's, the engine will almost stall and seems like it is choking, oil pressure drops and if I don't pull back on the throttle immediately I get a very powerful smell of gasoline. As soon as I back down to idle, the engine will idle fine and oil pressure climbs back to normal. But if I accelerate again and cruise for a minute or two, the engine freaks out again.

I don't think it is vapor lock, as this has only started to happen late in the season and it didn't occur when the outside temp was hot. The boat has about 30 hours on it and did not do this when I bought it new back in June. Someone suggested that perhaps it is the ECU for the fuel injection and that perhaps the hardware is going bad - not sure if that is it. Anyone have any thoughts? Im obviously going to bring the boat to have Nautique techs check it out, just wondering if anyone else had this problem.
