Hey guys just wondering if anyone has used or heard of these. Was thinking about purchasing . Thanks

I have installed one about 5 yrs ago, and have had success with it. No problems what-so-ever, and easy to install for what it is worth. I found it easier than climbing under the trailer to put up the kick-stand boot.

I have a friend who has one on his 3 boats and loves them. I haven't gotten around to buying and installing.

I installed one in my 210 last year. Works great if you winterize, and suck antifreeze from a cooler. Just make sure you turn off the sea **** for the raw water intake.

I was thinking about getting one of these for winterizing, but have read some negative reviews on west marine. I think a more durable option would be using the banjo couplings outlined in the "red neck" post on how to flush your engine.

Another option that I'm thinking of, banjo makes a 3 way valve. I think it should be a more durable option.

I've yet to install mine, but I think a tee with a hose cap/coupler would be better. I've got a bag of parts I bought the first winter and still haven't put it on.

I would try to leave the cooling system as stock as possible.
This is my solution to flushing an engine.

The more places you add adapters and fittings to the cooling water intake of your boat, the more places you create for a failure. Parts left off cost nothing, and create no service problems.

Im still at a loss as to why everyone likes to overcomplicate this.
To run on a hose, all you need is a simple in line tee in the waterline, to which you can connect a garden hose. About $15 in parts from Home Depot. Certain boats may require an extra shut off valve between the tee and the hull pickup if the hose routing prevents the RWP from priming. The only thing this set up does not do well is test the RWP... but that isnt exactly the norm for when you'd be using it.
Spending $50+ on a suspect plastic component with marginal reviews seems unwise.1990 Ski Nautique

I'm with DC also, spend the money on some valves and fittings that make juggling the flow or suction of antifreeze easy and design it where all that comes OFF during normal operation.
