    04 SUPER AIR STEERING PROBLEM

I have gotten on 04 Super-air in Japan.
It has the problem in the steering system.

The boat starts always turning to the left.
When it runs straight. The load hangs to the steering wheel.
    (Spend in the right. )
It rapidly turns to the left momentarily at the time of released the steering wheel.

The ladder is straight and it starts.
It runs straight in 1000 RPM.
It turns rapidly when plainly entering.

I moved the tab of the ladder to the right.
    The problem is not solved.

Please give information to me if you know the method of settlement.

#I am not good at English.
When the mistake is found in sentences, I'm sorry.

Move the tab so that it is centered. This will have no load. Then you can slowly adjust it from there. It doesn't take much to change the attitude of it.

Do you have a dealer near by? That should be covered by warranty.

RE: 04 SUPER AIR STEERING PROBLEM

        Thanks for your answer.

The tab was set at the center.
And, the tab was removed and it tested.
        The problem is not solved.

The bottom of boats was checked.
Centarfin and the Ladder are correctly installed.

Is the problem of the steering wheel system or the cable?
        Are the part exchange necessary?

There is no dealer to be near.
        However, parts can be obtained.
        Please advise.

The only other easy thing is to check the bolt that goes into the steering block at the back of the boat. There was a service bulletin for this. If it comes loose, it will create some wierd steering issues. Contact Correct Craft about it.

Thank you for a quick answer.
Does it only have to be removed the safety wire, and tighten a bolt?
Should I remove the ballast tank to work?

RE: 04 SUPER AIR STEERING PROBLEM

              I tried to work.
The wire of the ladder bolt was pulled out.
And, it tried to tighten the bolt that had adhered the wire.
It shuts completely. Which bolt is tightened?

The ladder can be spent by one hand.
It is lighter than other skiing boats.

              Please advise. Thanks.

Sir, go to "Recall Notice" link, read "2003 and Select 2004 Correct Craft Boats Recalled for Steering Issue"
(found at link: http://www.planetnautique.com/index....iewtopic&t=311). And contact your dealer who sold you the boat.
