    PCM Water strainer gasket

    Hey all,

I need a kind soul with a nautique and a ruler to help me. Anyone know what size the o-ring is on the pcm water strainer:

Just realised the gasket is missing on mine but I'm sure i can get a correctly sized o ring here in the uk that would fit. My boat's sixty miles away or I'd just go outside and measure it!

An o-ring is an o-ring, right?

    Darren.

No, it is a square cut "O" ring.
Outside diameter measured on mine, 79MM
    Inside diameter 72.5 MM
    Thickness of ring 3.25 MM
    Height of ring, 3.00 MM

Bare in mind it is difficult to accurately measure a flexible piece of rubber with calipers.

Usually the ring stays with the clear cup. Sometimes it sticks to the white plastic part of the strainer. It would not hurt to look in the bilge of the boat, too.
