Winterization of 2006 216 (Direct Drive) Questions

So I have a heated garage that I am storing my boat in and decided due to the heat that I could winterize myself this year. The boat is a 216 Direct Drive with the 5.7L. I have a couple of questions, but first off here is what I have done:

    1. Change Gear oil
    2. Change Engine Oil
    3. Add stabilizer, and run for about 15min
    4. Remove 6 drain plugs (each side of engine, each side of manifold, water pump drain, oil cooler drain)
    5. Replace drain plugs and ran about 36L of RV antifreeze through the system while running.
    6. Remove and drain 6 drain plugs as in step 4. The reason I did this is to ensure I had pink throughout the system. Probably a bad move draining it again but it is stored in a heated garage.

    Questions:
    1. I did not put any type of antisieze or thread lubricant on any of the plugs for the drains. Is this going to cause me issues and if so what should I be using.
    2. How the heck do you torque that stinking knock sensor? Is that anywhere near hand tight or half turn after hand tight etc?
    3. I am thinking that the rest of the drain plugs can be tightened to a little over hand tight since they will never really see that much pressure......I can tighten in spring if there are leaks. Any comments here?
    4. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you have everything, and you are correct, probably should have just left the pink stuff in more so as an anti corrosive then anything else, but storing drained is fine as well. I have used Teflon tape when replacing those plugs (not the knock sensor though) no leaks and everything comes out easy the next year. Just "snug" up that sensor like you mentioned.

Couple other things I have done typically:
Remove spark plugs and fog cylinders, rotate assembly by hand afterwards
Drain plug on FCC bottom, drain a 1/2oz or so into glass container, inspect for water - replace filter every couple years
Lube rudder via zerk fitting in trunk
If you have piots, Remove the lines from underside of gateway box to ensure they are fully drained, also in trunk
Never hurts to remove inspect impeller, leave serp belt off/loose during layup
