Looking for the floor piece from a 1998 Ski Nautique. I am in a need of the removable floor pannel that runs from behind the engine under the back seat, with a circular access cover. I believe this was the same part used in many different model years. Please contact me if you have one you are willing to sell. Thanks!

Depends on what material the core/structure of that panel is. Believe it originally was a composite board material. Hopefully someone will chime in that knows for sure.
Remove all the hardware from the old panel for re-use, including the carpet if decent and removable without destroying. Use old panel as template (assuming it fit correctly) and cut new panel.
If carpet needs replacing you may be able to find it locally or use Christine's via their link on this site.
Really should be an easy job, if not within your comfort level bring it to a local trusted upholstery shop.

I would think that its probably easier to repair/reinforce the existing panel from underneath than it would be to start from scratch. A piece of composite material that size is likely to run a few hundred bucks. Chances of being able to reuse the carpet are slim to none.1990 Ski Nautique

Perhaps drying the panel indoors for a while, then apply some CPES to seal and strengthen it up. Then you could reinforce it with some composite material, like some trim for a synthetic deck would maybe work.1993 Sport Nautique

Timmy, curious, do you know what exactly is the material used for those panels, is it a coosa board or what and where could it be purchased?
Repair certainly may be viable however without pics it's really hard to determine.

No idea what that panel is made from... id like to see a pic. If glass will stick to it and youre not missing parts, then its repairable.
If it were me, and a new panel needed to be fabbed, Id be using coosa for sure.1990 Ski Nautique
