2011 210 Team - Factory Ballast / Impellor problems.

I Just replaced an impellor in my starboard tank as the old one had run dry / burnt out. Since replacing I have had problems with it self priming or pumping, it seems to be running dry.
I have pulled the hoses off and ensured there are no blockages and I can blow through them and watch the water come out of the pickups.
Has anybody encountered this before or can anyone suggest some further fault finding.
The boat just isnt the same without a belly full of ballast!!

what color impeller are you using? i thought by now there wouldnt be anymore issues. i want to say green is the good kind, but let someone else chime in who actually has impeller pumps in their boat.

I had to replace a few on my 2011 210 as well. I used the green ones, but they would spin out the center, so that the pump would spin, but the impeller itself would not. I went through about three of them on my green 210. I had NO issues with them in the 2012 PN boat. Didn't replace a single one last year.

We also have done think 2 in our 2011 210 but touch wood been good after these when near boat was new...........
