01 Super Air belly ballast hatch latch

Hi I am looking for one of these ski locker/ballast hatch latches.



$33 on Nautique parts. Does anyone have an equivelant or fitted anything different. As I am in the UK if I brought the one from NP it would end up being quite costly by the time it gets to the UK. If anyone knows of a different type that would fit that I may be able to find here in the UK then that would be of great help. I have searched the internet but I am struggling to find one.

Its tough having a nautique in the UK!

I can't help but can sympathise. I need two of these http://www.nautiqueparts.com/latchre...ssspn210s.aspx but can't find anything similar here in UK/EU. Last time I ordered something from skidim (two relays), postage was $40, import VAT 20% and the royal mail charged my £14 'admin' to dispatch it - ended up costing ma a packet. I have list of other wee bits n bobs that I'm going to order in a month or so including guide pads for my trailer, a full cover, a shock for my glove box, the two latches above and few other small items (decals, strainer gaskets etc). I can shout you then and chuck your latch in if you're not sorted by that stage. Feel free to let me know if you can get any of the items I need round these parts! Seems we share the same boat

Sorrt for the dumb question but what is wrong with your latch? Could it be repaired by replacing or resetting the spring? I thought mine was busted but the spring got misaligned and once I moved it back in place it worked without issue all summer.

Hi, my boat was used for a period in salt water before I owned it. The very thin aluminium frame of the latch had corroded. I removed the latch and frame to clean it up and repaint etc but the frame broke apart because of the corrosion.
