Should I be concerned? The boat went into limp mode, only for about 3 minutes to get back to my dock. When I checked the intake line, I noticed the flush kit was clogged. I removed it and installed a 1 1/4" coupler. Took the boat out for a short run to test for leaks, and the temp gauge barely rose above the 100 degree mark. Almost as if it were pegged low. And now I'm hesitant to open it up to get it hot. This is a 2008 SANTE 210

LOL, as I re-read what I posted it seems as though it's not really a problem. Maybe I'm just paranoid, I'm a first ime boat owner and have only had this boat for 10 months. -
What was it running at before? 100 does seem low. i'm no expert by the way. just curious.

Like Jeff said stuck open thermostat. I also had temperature sensor go bad which prevented mine from going above 130.
But if yours was fine before you changed your system then probably not the case.Current

Temp would run consistently at around 150, went for a longer run just now and it still hasn't gone any higher. Is it easy enough to swap in a new one?Comment

with closed cooling you should run a few degrees higher than the same engine without it. In my untrained opinion you were reading low at 150 for sure and the problem isn't new.Comment
