    Fuel Pre-Filter 2006 330 Excaliber

What's the trick to replacing the pre-filter? What part should I be disconnecting and/or unscrewing from the fuel line? Thanks!

        Tool,

Do you know what years/models are equipped with the pre-filter? Is item#21 the filter/gasket in question?
Thought I read not all Excal's have the pre-filter, ICBW though.

          You are right.

A site not our favorite shows 2005/6 only. (see link) I think that matches the book I grabbed the image from years ago. There might be a few other serial numbers with them. You never know what makes them decide these thing. The good news is you can see the little housing. I have the part but never changed it. Every year I say I will then put it in the water and spend the time using it.

I assume skidim go the years from the PCM part number shown.

In years following, didn't PCM change to an inline throw away...and then to a spin on pre filter? Just wondering if upgrading to the newer prefilter would allow for longer intervals between fuel cell cartridge changes.
            Peace..
