Getting 2000 SAN Ready for Summer

What do I need to do to my 2000 SAN before I put it in the water for the spring/summer?

On my list I have: Reconnect Battery, Change Spark Plugs, Replace Impellar (should I do this in Spring or Fall?)....

What else should I do?

Have you changed the oil? That should be done at the end of the season, and every 50 hours. You might also want to change the V-Drive oil and the transmission fluid. Check to make sure all of your hoses are in good shape and hooked up properly, and make sure your belts are okay. Once that's all done, you should be good to go. Keep an eye on your temperature gauge the first time out. It isn't unheard of for the thermostat to stick closed after winter storage.

I would recommend changing the impeller in the spring so that the vanes don't have a permanent bend in them from sitting in one position all winter.

Do you tow your boat? If so, be sure to check out your trailer brakes and tires for signs of wear.

The oil was changed in the fall - I am not sure about the V-Drive oil and the transmission fluid. I will check on that.
