This topic comes up from time to time, and I have commented on this product before, and I understand that many of you with boats under warranty will not consider it if there is any chance whatsoever it could void the warranty (personally I don't know how it could) but I figured I would at least put together some information on it in case some of you may be interested.
The product is called Torco Accelerator. Here is where I buy mine from for my race car. http://www.jbsblownc5.net/
I am not a rep or dealer or have any connection or personal gain from "soliciting" this product, I only offer it as an option to those needing higher octane fuel when filling at a dock with few options.
This product is unleaded, and catalytic converter and O2 sensor safe. I have been running it in my car for 5+ years. It is a "race car" kinda, but it is street legal and when the weather is nice I drive it like a daily driver on the road.
The website I linked above claims that 102 octane with 32 0z. in 10 gallons of 91. I don't prescribe to that "analysis." the reason is I don't know if they mean MON or PON octane, or even if they mean equal to 102 octane in "knock" prevention. However, a performance shop sent a sample to be tested for PON (the same rating that is listed at the pump here in the US. Her is the letter/analysis of the sample

The above link is to an old advertisement posted on Modularfords. The person who was selling this at the time was James Parker out of Mobile Alabama a well know and repected tuner of high performance cars Like Cobra's/Shellby's and Corvettes.
In essence this chart shows that 32 oz of Torco into 10 gallons of fuel will raise the octane 5+ points.
32 oz of Torco into 20 gallons of fuel will raise the the octane 2.5+ points.
If you buy a 5 gallon pail, with shipping the cost is about $12.50 per 32 0z.
The bottom line for me is this stuff really works. My car runs 20 psi and "maximum timing" and I have not had a single detontion issue. I know people that have run this in everything from worked sand rails and bikes/four wheelers to snow machines and jet skis.
Anyway, if low octance fuel is a problem, and hauling gas around is a PITA, you should look into this product. If my car under 19 pounds of boost has not blown up, there is no way this does not work for adding a couple extra points in a N/A application or even a "low boost" appliction like the new 550.
