          please post outcome, mine is getting difficult also. I guess I should have replaced it when doing steering cable last year, go figure.

            David from Nautiqueparts.com was kind enough to help with info. The hydrogate cable is standard on all models and is 22ft long. NP's part number is 2146,heres the link http://www.nautiqueparts.com/hydrogatecontrolcable.aspx
