Passenger seat bottom is broken on near front edge. I am trying to figure out what the material is made of in order to determine if I can plastic weld it back together or use an epoxy/fiberglass method or both in order to not have to replace entire piece. Anyone know exactly what this material is made from? Is it some form of PVC sheet? Does not seem to be very dense, more like a "hard foam plastic" material.

My research tells me seat bottom material is Expanded Polyvinyl Chloride or XPVC. Another person stated it was High Density Polyethylene (HDPE).
After some looking I believe it is the first and not HDPE. Both materials may be welded with correct plastic rod/material and both may be glued with the proper technique and adhesive.
TAP plastics has some very informative videos on their website for gluing HDPE with their brand of poly-weld adhesive (and other products for other plastics).

Potato....Patato........I think it might be called Sintra Plastic PVC they also make a board called Komatex. I did not research what the difference is between the two types.
