    Beware of spray sun screen

So this past summer i started seeing all these white dots on my tower paint on my 2011 sport 200 couldnt figure out where the **** they came from. The worst part is they wouldnt come off with a wet rag and a good scrub. Eventually figured out it was from the aresol type bottled sunscreen. Apparrently the stuff turns to glue on ur tower paint.

Anyone got any ideas of a strong cleaner that would work to get this off?

Try rubbing alcohol. Use in an inconspicuous place first, in case it damages the paint/powder coating.

The banana boat and coppertone turns all my white or grey t shirt necks orange and you can see it running into the shower when you wash it off. Gross. It sticks to my corner observers seat too and is very hard to get off. Other brands are just fine.

I had a film all over my windows and figured out it was the spray sunscreen. The only way I got it off was with GOO-B-GONE!! Now there are new rules in place for applying sunscreen!!
If its not a competition ski boat, its always second best.

Sunscreen will also fog up the outside of a tervis tumbler.

Sunscreen is murder on vinyl as well. My rule is all sunscreen needs to be applied before getting on the boat or on the swim step. As far as the tower, maybe try a Magic Eraser? I've never used one on the tower but it would be the first thing I would try for something stubborn like this...

Magic erasers are abrasive. May as well try fine sandpaper.

I don't think you need anything as abrasive as either of these suggestions. Try a light rubbing compound first, or even a cleaner wax. If neither of these work then move to the magic eraser. Sandpaper, even 3000 grit is overkill IMHO. If it takes sandpaper to remove these specks you are in for a lot of work sanding, compounding, and polishing to get the finish back. Heck, have you tried just using your fingernail to scratch it off? I can't see it being that difficult to remove.

And we are putting this stuff on our largest organ on our bodies... Our skin. I try to stay away from this stuff as much as possible. Better to cover up where possible and stay
                  out of peak sunlight hours.

After spending a couple of hours cleaning the vinyl, I don't let people use the spay-on type on the boat. If someone pulls out a bottle, I provide them with an alternative.
