2002 SAN Bow Combing Pad Removal

I am in the middle of upgrading my factory speakers in my 02 SAN. I have the back done, but I have no idea how to removed the combing pad in the bow to remove the old speakers and put my new polk ones in. Does anyone out there have any guidance for me or a step-by-step process that might help? Thanks! Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

It's similar to the back with a couple exceptions:

You'll need to pull out the cupholders and (like a contortionist) reach underneath with a wrench and remove the nuts/washers that hold it to the fiberglass. Also, there are metal clips near the windshield that drop into little brackets in order to hold the pad straight. Once you have all of the nuts and washers off, you'll need to lift the pad vertically so that the clips disengage. That should help you get the bow pad removed.

If you look for some threads on here about front-mount or surface-mount speakers, you should be able to find more info. Good luck.
