painting speaker cans...

anyone have a good DIY solution for painting tower speakers to avoid a trip to the body shop?

they are the older titan cans...before they redisigned them to be oval.

pretty sure they are all plastic...and they are chrome painted. not sure if I could paint over that or if I'd have to have them sand blasted.

I'd blast them and shoot them with an HVLP gun. I did my aerial speakers before I sold them, looked professional.

I'm told that Dupli-color works well. I'm only seeing high gloss...no semi gloss listed on amazon.
