Ok here are my problems. So I hope someone can help.
last summer I bought a boat that supposedly didn't have any problems and has less then 250 hours on it and after two uses I ended up having these problems... Go figure..
1. On my dash I have up and down buttons for my engine cover, well if I push the up button it will raise it and won't stop itself. To the point I have to turn the boat completely off by using the battery switch. It also does it when I want to lower the engine cover. I'm thinking I can rule out that the buttons are not getting stuck bc I can keep pressing them and it won't solve anything till I turn the whole boat off.
2. Why is it I can turn my boat off by the battery switch then flip it where it runs on both battery's and walk over without putting in my pass code and start my engine? *** the funny thing is when I do that, I can put it in drive or reverse and it runs but as soon as I put it in neutral I can hear the boat grinding in the back like the starter is trying to kick the boat over again.. At that point I can then put in my pass code and it stops... Wtf? Lol
3. Why is it when I try to turn off the engine by hitting the stop button it won't do anything and I have to go back where my battery switch is and either turn the switch completely off "if that will work" if not I have to pull the fuse next to the switch..
HELP!!
And the closes nautique dealer is 7hrs away!
