Retro - fitting the newer spin on fuel filter

I have a 2010 PCM343 that uses the in-line fuel filter and I was thinking about switching over to the newer spin on fuel filter to make maintenance easier instead of having to take the whole clamshell off.

Has anyone done this? Where does the newer filter fitting get attached to the engine?

It would be nice to get rid of that filter...I hate changing it!
