    Project : Observer Seat

So, I have a 1990 Sport Nautique and it has dual captains chairs up front. Personally, I would much rather have the traditional lift up observer seat on the "passenger's" side because you loose a lot of storage w/ the current set-up and it's just takes up more room.

So, am I going to have to build a 'normal' observer seat from scratch, or can I make another one work? Has anyone ever done this? I looked at a '90 ski nautique and it's observer seat would cover the walk through opening to the open bow.

    Any suggestions?

I've stole some pics of someone else's boat w/ the same setup as mine.

I would think taking the Ski observers seat and cutting it at the edge of the walkthrough isle so it's flush against that side, and then you have an observer jump seat as well. Depending on where you can get one, it won't be much more expensive than building your own, not to mention a lot less of a hassle.

that's a good idea! I didn't think about the fact that you could get a jump seat out of the deal also. Hmmm...now to find a 1990-93 ski nautique observer seat???
