2003 SAN 226le 6.0 PCM Impeller Change with Serpintine Belt

So I am attempting to check my impeller for operatioanl integrity. I have the belt removed and I am able to remove the three screws holding the impeller housing to the pump. I am not able to get the pulley and housing out of the pump due to the exhaust canisters that are in the way. I was wondering if anyone has had this issue and if there is any way to get to the impellare without taking the exhaust apart?? I would like to think this would be something I could do in about 5 minutes if the pulley would pull right out. Any help would be greatly apprecitated!!

I just traded in a 2003 226 with 6.0. I did not have it long enough to ever swap impeller but I did maintenance on it as for as a few bad sensors and winterization. If I remember right the pulley can be pulled off of the pump.If not can you un bolt the pump.

Should be 3 Allen head bolts holding the pulley to the pump and 3 bolts that hold the front of the pump housing. Would removing the pulley first then the pump housing work??
