2007 ZR6 Vdrive+ transmission oil

I want to change the v-drive and transmission oil of our 2007 236/230 with ZR6 (so PCM v-drive).
I can find 1 fill up place, it seems like the v-drive and transmission are 1 and the same. Is this correct, or is there another fill up point on the drives? Which oil do you use on the v-drives & transmission?

Depends on what v drive and Trans but I think you'll have a PCM Trans powerplus and not the hurth. Either way they are not the same unit. Powerplus Trans has dipstick up by engine and you should service oil in it and the v drive you should not ever service unless the oil gets contaminated. Google your owners manual or get off of the forum.

you SHOULD service your v-drive. typically 100 hours or before you put it up for storage.

From the owners manual..... PCM Powerplus V Drives are designed to be maintenance free. Checked after 25 hours of use and changed only if contaminated. My dealer also says the same.

Just changed the transmission this weekend with DEX/MERC ATF per the manual. I am with neverenough on the v drive unit. I have never serviced it.
