Need to get in to side compartments on 2003 SANTE and battery is Dead.

Hi Folks,

Anyone know the simpliest way yo open my power hatch when there is no power. I have a Perko switch that is in there in the off postion and somehow the compartment got closed over winter...Thanks!!

open center hatch, reach behind the center divider to pop the side latch open from underneath. it has a small handle under there for that purpose ...

Open the engine compartment (middle hatch). Look at either side of the bulkheads that divide the engine compartment from the side compartments and you should see a hole big enough to fit your hand in. These will be just under the fiberglass area between the rear seat back and engine compartment area. Reach inside the holes and you will feel the manual latch handle (just a small flat piece of metal). Pull it towards you and the latch will release to open.
