I have an 06 210 SANTE, and the breakers trip constantly for the jabsco ballast pumps. If I keep resetting the breakers eventually the pumps will kick on. Anyone else having a similar issue and know of a fix? Very annoying considering my rear tanks are each piggybacked to 750 lb bags. It's just wasted time on the water messing with these things. It almost seems like the breakers aren't sized right for the pump motor......

i have the older style pumps on my 210, When I had that problem it, I had to replace the fill pump that was the issue. Maybe that pump is failing causing the breaker to trip.19 SANTE 210

short of that, you'll have to take out the box and look (PITA)2003 SANTE - "OG 210"

Just looked at the boat, my breaker panel for the ballast pumps is in the rear port locker. Each have 20 amp breakers which should be plenty in theory. Unless the pump motors are going bad like @hondaprlud suggested causing the start-up amps to spike above 20amps. Pumps were replaced 2 years ago, I would think you should get more than 2 years out of them......2018 SANTE 230 - H5

is hard to imagine why they would be tripping a 20 amp?? aren't jabsco pumps supposed to be quality? i agree, no way the motors should be going in them already ...2003 SANTE - "OG 210"

Jabsco Pumps require a 20A 12V breaker, Johnson Pumps require a 25A / 12V breaker. Each should be dedicated to the Pump only... no other accessories should be attached to this breaker. Make sure wire size is correct and the connections are solid. My Johnson was almost tripping the breaker, You could see the strain on the breaker light dimming.. I pulled the pump apart and polished and lubricated the impeller and it seams to work much better. they should not be run dry.na

Do you use the green impellers? The original will get stuck.
Also, when your tanks are empty, switch your pump to fill for 1 second. That way the blades are reversed and ready for filling, this is easier for the pumps when starting (less amps). Same for filling. Had the same issues with our 2006, these 2 points solved it.

It does also have that breaker box under the helm, However, Next to the battery switch is another panel containing the breakers for each of the ballast pumps.2018 SANTE 230 - H5
