Need to find Pin for electrical connector

Does anyone know where I can find a new pin like this one. I have a 2006 SANTE and this is the GND wire for the perfect pass and has lost it's retention in the housing in the engine compartment.

I have pushed it in for few seasons and used tape to hold but would like to fix it now for good.

When I worked for GM the dealer had a kit with all the repair terminals . I think Radio Shack has them also.

The good news is those pins are easy to find online through Digikey or Mouser. The bad news is the minifit crimpers you need to crimp those pins are pretty expensive. I just bought some for work recently and they were $200.

Those are called weather pack terminals and as pointed out take a special crimp. I purchased the entire kit a couple years ago and it was over $800 dollars for the tools and assorted pins and plugs.

I purchased my kit from Delcity wire but there are other places that sell them. I believe that I recently saw them at NAPA as well and perhaps they have a loaner crimper.

I have used other tools to do the crimping - also, not sure if you have a Harley dealer in town or not, but their repair shop should carry a few of the sizes in stock. Once I had to pay a buck each, another time they gave them to me for free.

Not sure of the PP mating connector in your situation...but a good alternative is to convert to the Duetsch connector assembly any chance you can. These assemblies are what CC uses in most of their applications on all late model wiring harnesses. The have good pin/socket retention design, excellent sealing and are readily availability for marine and off road applications. Downside is the crimp tool ($$$$)....but your CC dealer should have one to borrow. Also, the Duetsch connector assemblies are available in a wide variety of configurations
            Peace..

              thanks all

I was hoping to get the barb bent back down to engage the plastic housing but have been unable to do so thus far.

You can use what I call W crimping pliers for that end. I found mine on snap-on truck.

Well call me a hobo mechanic but I just installed a couple of sets of deutsch connectors installing a trim tab, and I crimped the pins with my regular old crimp tool from harbor freight. The crimps aren't particularly beautiful and it took several squeezes to get it all crimped up, but the pins are on the wires good and tight and are now secured inside the deutsch connectors.

If I were doing these all the time, the proprietary crimper would be in my toolbox. But for the 2 or 3 I'll ever do in my lifetime? Redneck style.

Summit racing has good prices on the connectors btw. Weatherpack connectors are nice too and are readily available at NAPA.
