    Fellow Minnesotans

For those of you that live in Minnesota, what do you use for gas in your boat? In my area in SW MN all the gas has 10% ethanol in it and is 89 octane. I have the 95 GT-40 engine and am curious if ethanol will hurt it. There is 92 octane around but is hard to find and is expensive. Does the 92 octane have ethanol as well?

I use the with 10% ethanol until end of season then switch to non ethanol from fleet farm....just buy the cheap stuff till end of season is my advice. Too expensive to burn non ethanol all season, just for storage in my opinion.

Scottb has good advice. If you are burning it often, I don't think you'd have a problem with the E10. But any amount of sitting over a month or so, Ethanol begins to cause problems...
