2012 230 SAN TOWER Question

Hello

I am having a small issue with my tower where the lock latch seems to be loose and not latching firmly and not tight fitting. Anyone have an idea what this might be? The other side is working fine and you can feel the latching when raising the tower up and locking it.

The tower uses a cam latch to securely lock down the tower. There is one cam on each side(foot) of the tower. If the cam is damaged, typically by not resetting properly, it will have to be replaced. The other possibility is that t needs to be adjusted which is done with shims under the latch. I highly recommend having this done before using the tower.
