G23 450 stalling

Anyone else had a problem with the 450hp stalling when going form in gear to neutral? Mine has done it quite a few times. It starts right back up, was told PCM is working on a fix. Just wondering if anyone else is having a problem?

yep, 30hrs, its done it twice and came close a few more times.... slightly low idle IMO.... especially when you have a lot of electronics running, 3x pumps, fan, stereo etc etc.

Mine has stalled once in the 40 hours I have on the boat. My dealer has said he has seen the issue on severe G's.

Glad I'm not the only one!! LOL mine was pulling the kids, no pumps or anything running. Just taking out slack in the rope. it did it multiple times in one day. I only have 3hrs on the boat.

Mine didn't it once the other day. I was just idleing towards a rider and lost power.

I was told that PCM knows about it and is making a flash for he pcm. Not sure when, but it is a known problem.

PCM have had the reflash out for about a month. I waited for the NSS to arrive (this week) & had the reflash done at the same time.

it all ways amazes me how different dealers receive technical information on fixes, some are instance , some say they have not heard of a problem, case in point Laketexoma dealer saying a flash is being made, philp dealer had the flash for over a month, that's why its all ways good to question a response and to ask for a second opinion .

Has anyone had this problem with a 550?

Haven't had this problem with my 550, but I have been surprised at the rough sounding (low RPM) idle. This is different from other boats I have had in past.

2 computer updates and still stalls

My has stalled 3 times in 135 hours. Always when dropping back to idle. Simply idles down to about 500rpm and stalls. So infrequent I have not even mentioned it to my dealer.
