Nautique mechanic in Louisiana ??

About to buy a 94 Sport Nautique. Anyone have a good SN mechanic in Louisiana? Also I will be adding a Bimini top, tower and speakers and may do some interior work.. Anyone got a good contact to do this? I would drive to Texas if need to. Thanks

Both my brother (77 SNCB) and I (94 SNOB) have a boat mech in Slidell along the Rigolets. He restores inboards and both he and his wife have 60's era Correct Crafts. He does good work. It might be a little far from Alexandria and TX may be closer. Let me know if you want his #.

I'm not sure why I did not recommend this first, old age must be getting to me. Nautique mechanic, goes by the Boat Doctor, Billy Sutton. He is 75 miles from Alexandria, LA in Monterey, LA. 318-386-2825. I spoke to him today, told him you were running a 94 Sport Nautique and he will be happy to talk to you. Good guy and he lives, eats and breathes Correct Crafts. Not a dealer, independent mechanic.
