What is flat circular brass fitting on bottom of G hull next to shark fin?

It's about 1 1/2" in diameter maybe. I put my boat up on lift, killed batteries and then noticed water dripping into lake from under boat. it was coming from that fitting. Ballast tanks were empty per gauges and the bilge didn't have more than the normal amount of water in it (a separate maintenance issue). It dripped for a long time at a pretty steady rate - was still dripping when I left the boat there. Just trying to figure out where this water is coming from.

I have to agree with seth, the ballast pumps are on timers, they do no know weather your ballast tanks are full or empty, your pumps do what you tell them todo, and the gauges respond to the time they are on so they assume when you activate them they start off full or completely empty the only time you know that your ballast are really full is when you see water coming out of all three over flow outlets one for port ,starboard, and the belly. I wish CC would have installed discharged outlets, on the side of the boat like they used to , that's was the only positive way to know you were truly emptying your ballast. back to your original question , did you activate your pump again to remove the excess water, I would say it was not completely full when you put the boat up because it would have been really favoring the un-pump side, and you would have notice,

No, I didn't try to activate pump to remove (even though screen said they were empty). Odd thing was power was off from battery so it wasn't pumping but I guess water can leak through pumps even if no power to them. I would have thought that if power were off the sacs would have held water without the leaking.

for some reason they leak if the boat is on lift, trailer, that's how I find out there still water in the ballast and something has gone wrong.

for some reason I had a problem with my starboard sack,it would not empty the pump was working, even took apart and checked the propeller ....took the rear starboard observation panel off and stood on the bag thinking it was air lock or something , that did not work took the hose off on the discharged side of pump and there was about a tenth amount of water coming out than should be , it took about 8 cycles to empty to 1/4 ,took the observation plate off the port rear to see where the hoses were attached, which found engine side rear , with that knowledge, went over to starboard side (by now on about 8th cycle) sack was still about 1/4 full reach my hand down to where the hose attached (couldn't earlier because sacks too full and you could not reach or feel on the side) did little massaging and bamm could hear the water coming out of the pumps like they should,(this was done on my lift with the plug out) never really figured out what I did to fix but everything been working perfect since that day ,that's why I like above water discharge , positive proof its working properly .
