2002 Sport with bad keypad

Hi All

My starboard keypad has failed and requires replacement of at least one keypad and possibly the breaker box. The port keypad is original. ($1504 for all new parts). My speedo has failed and the tach is on the blink again. Tach has been repaired twice over the years.

I am thinking about changing the Dash pod, breaker box and instruments to a 2003. I can buy all the parts for $1760 and have my boat updated to all new instrumentation.

Anybody have any thoughts or has done this? Or am I crazy?

Just be sure that the shape of the dash is the same. I know the '02 got a lot of changes to the deck that it shares with the '03 and later boats but what about the dash? Are the pods interchangeable?
