Riddle me this, I had to do a really hard reverse today to get my boat off the lift. My boat house is on an old creek bed and the lake is low so I have 3' at the front and 6 in the rear. So I just gas it to get the boat to pull off the cradle. Never struck anything and now I have a bad vibration. So much so you can't see an image out of the rear view. Haven't pulled the boat to look at the prop yet, but will tomorrow. Any ideas if its not the prop what else it could be from just a powerful reverse?

Yep that might be causing the vibration. What prop is that? I'll close to Big Rapids, MI this week. You want me to stop by Acme and have a talk with them.2013 G23 450 with NSS (175hrs) and still have the original prop

Yep stop by and tell them it just bent! LOL. I've hit stuff in the past ( ok a lot of stuff) and have done less damage and felt like I got hit by a small SUV. With this one I didn't feel a thing, but it had to have been my lift cradle.2008 210 SAN TE (Moonraker Yellow over Midnight Blue)

Nope I think someone floated under it and beat my prop with a hammer. Guy at the prop shop said mine looks great compaired to some he's seen this year.2008 210 SAN TE (Moonraker Yellow over Midnight Blue)

Oh man, I hope that isn't a common problem in reverse because I have to slam my boat into reverse to get it off the trailer. I have already had to get my prop re-worked twice from some dumb mistakes in shallow water so I'm a little worried that it might be soft after all those re-finishes.

I wouldn't worry, I have 3 props and that was the last one that had not been reworked. I had to have hit the cradle. I have a 1579 that has been reworked 3 times. Depends on how bad the damage is as to how many times they can be straightened. The one I pictured is nothing to fix because the blades are just dog eared not twisted or missing.2008 210 SAN TE (Moonraker Yellow over Midnight Blue)
