Love my new all black G23 with XS550 (closed cooling) - will post pics when I can tear myself 10 feet away from it on a sunny day for some good shots. It started intermittantly overheating up to 200 F and going into "safe" mode, cutting the throttle to idle where it cools down to 160. Plenty of coolant, and oil. Took the weeds out of the strainer. It doesn't occur every time I go out. I'm guessing faulty thermostat, but would like to see if anyone else has had this problem or if any ideas.
