My 1997 GT40 will start and run for 2 seconds, then quit. It is not popping the circuit breakers and will immediately start and run again for 2 seconds. I've searched and found others with a similar problem but I've been unable to solve my issue. Of course, it ran fine when put away last winter. Here's what I've done so far.
When I turn the key to position one, the pumps no longer run for 2 seconds like they previously did.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

- Checked the 50 amp fuse for the "keep alive wire" at the positive battery post. It's clean and current will pass thru it.
- Ran a pair of jumper wires directly from the battery to each fuel pump and they both operate. The low pressure pump only requires the hot lead to operate. At first that didn't seem right but after thinking about it, the ground wire is still attached to the pump and, accordingly, another ground directly from the battery is not required. (the current low pressure pump was replaced 4 years ago and wired directly into the harness with butt connectors).
- Swapped out both relays. No change.
- Tested #30 pin in both relay connectors and they are both hot. Pin #87 is grounded. A test lamp between 30/87 will light without the key being turned on.
